Sewing circular makeup pads on a serger/overlocker

This short video shows how I sew reusable face cleansing discs on my serger. I use bulky, woolly nylon in the loopers and normal serger thread in the needles. This is a great way to stash-bust some of those smaller scraps.

I cut out the discs using a circular die of 5″ diameter on my Sizzix big shot. It is a little tricky to sew circles but after a few, you will probably get the hang of it. Like the first few pancakes are not always the best, but still edible!

I made lots of these a few years ago and I’m still using them every day.
